I have over 35 years of progressive career growth and I have been privileged to have held executive positions in technology, life sciences, energy, healthcare and software industries. A vast majority of these roles have been focused on sales and delivery of technology focused professional services. While I love technology and the impact tech has on our lives, I am very much a people person and love working with internal sales and delivery teams and the clients that we serve. In 2016, I had the unique opportunity to join Techtonic to launch and grow Techtonic’s Software Development Apprenticeship program. The software development apprenticeship was the first in the State of Colorado (and one of the first in the country) to be registered with the U.S. Department of Labor. This apprenticeship was successful in addressing the tech talent gap while promoting greater diversity and inclusion by providing a non-traditional onramp into a career in software development with an emphasis on increasing the opportunity for women, people of color and Veterans to enter the information technology workforce. As Chief Apprenticeship Officer, I led a team that created an industry-leading and nationally recognized program that has created over 130 software developers that are employed by over 30 companies across Colorado. I am very active in Colorado’s technology and workforce development community through my active participation and leadership as Co-Chair for the Tech Talent Boulder / Broomfield Sector Partnership, Co-Chair for the Boulder County Workforce Development Board and through my ongoing volunteer and event Co-Chair activities with the Colorado Technology Association over the past 11 years. I am a Colorado native and outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife Betsy and our four adult children, attending Broncos, CSU Rams and Rockies games and enjoying playing golf. Core Competencies: Apprenticeship, Workforce Development, Leadership, Philanthropy, Sales, Business Development, Recruiting, P&L, Budgeting, Human Resources, Staffing, Project Delivery, Customer Service, Information Technology, Strategy Development, Statement of Work and Contract Negotiation and Management, Project Management, Engagement ManagementContact Information:Chris@activatework.org(m) 303.332.2247
