How we live and work in the environment is important. I would love to help organizations utilize the world’s resources in a way that has a positive environmental impact while simultaneously achieving business objectives.To this end, I enjoy all the various areas of geoscience with a particular interest in having a positive impact remediating environmental issues like sea level rise and groundwater contamination. Having earned a BA in Geoscience at the University of Connecticut, I gained both academic and field experience that solidified my career choice. During a three day trip, I was appointed as a leader mapping strike and dip measurements of rock structures and creating stereonets analyzing earth structure – and I was hooked. My college work experience includes four years as a team supervisor at a large Jersey Shore beach club. I am known for demonstrating diligence, strong character, and work ethic in achieving goals and inspiring my team to deliver superb service. I have improved processes and create efficiencies that benefit both customers and the organization.Together with my academic studies, fieldwork and leadership experience, I’d like to help an organization operate in a way that supports a healthy environment or remediates an environmental concern all the while inspiring others to be thoughtful about how we use the earth’s resource.
