I'm fascinated by wine, soil, and complex problems. We know biological systems are unimaginably complex, so being able to explore that world through the vineyard floor is fun! At Vintality we use the latest technology, with a precision viticulture focus, to make that complex world as simple as possible. It's not about those pretty maps - it's what you do with them. Vineyard science is now technology-driven - but it's also holistic. It's a business and a passion. It's wine, man! For fun, I play a variety of sports such as football, rugby, and squash, and I can also be found scuba diving. I consumes books on everything from sports performance to Byzantine diplomatic strategy to the poetry of Whitman and T.S. Eliot. My library's grown to over 1,900 books, but as I remind my wife:"Read books are far less valuable than unread ones. The library should contain as much of what you do not know as your financial means, mortgage rates, and the currently tight real-estate market allows you to put there. You will accumulate more knowledge and more books as you grow older, and the growing number of unread books on the shelves will look at you menacingly. Indeed, the more you know, the larger the rows of unread books. Let us call this collection of unread books an antilibrary."
