• Supported a shared-services environment with an emphasis on capital projects. Companies supported were Atlantic Aviation, International-Matex Tank Terminals (IMTT) and Hawaii Gas, all holding companies for Macquarie.
• Upgraded Windows 7 to 10 and Server 2008 to 2016/2019 prior to OS end of life. Saved company the cost of paying $100,000 for extended Microsoft support.
• Implemented assets management solution using SCCM (Configuration Manager). Resulted in a 20% reduction in Microsoft license cost.
• Built new ESX and vCenter environment to both upgrade and mitigate database corruption issues. This resulted in new automation and efficiencies of the system.
• Executed lifecycle replacement of core servers. Through infrastructure assessment, reduced server count from 36 core datacenter servers to 26 servers in over six data center locations. This saved $96,000.
• Working with the security team, assisted with development of new patching methodology using SCCM. In addition, planned and implemented patching schemes using both new VMware Update Manager (VUM) and Dell OpenManager.

• Created a Private Cloud environment and in the process virtualized 180 physical rack servers onto eight blade servers, which reduced power consumption, capital cost, and operational expenses.
• Designed and built Citrix XenApp 6 environment for each company and configured the system for compatibility with custom in-house application systems. This resulted in better user mobility and data management with.
• Led infrastructure design for new PeopleSoft Finance and HR build. This project resulted in greater efficiencies and performance metrics for both departments.
• Created a 20% improved support resolution time by working with departmental leads to design an improved directory structure by leveraging AD/Group Policies & Permission expertise.
