I directed end-to-end projects while leading 15 direct reports at this oilfield environmental services provider. In this regard, I oversaw facility operations, including fuel ordering, waste management, and technical documentation while managing a $100K monthly budget. In addition to this, I supervised automation, concrete, dirt work, electrical, drilling, and injection contractors as well as mechanical crews.As a recent hire, I was brought onboard to manage and execute 2 $7M facility construction projects. To this end, I oversaw all scheduling and dispatch operations. Moreover, I ensured effective goal setting and milestone management. Consequently, I completed the projects on time and ~$1M under budget.One of my major contributions here was establishing preventative maintenance standards by creating a system management plan. At this oil and gas service company, I designed project management tools and related accessories. To this end, I oversaw $70K-250K budgets and conducted Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to calculate and identify burst pressures and stress analyses outcomes. Additionally, I determined engineering costs, wrote project spec sheets, and oversaw field trials as well as automation testing to further prototype development and execution.My key accomplishments here involved designing and qualifying new oilfield drilling technologies. In this regard, I developed a top-of-the-line downhole deployment valve mechanism. To do so, I modified existing tools with off-the-shelf gauges and software. As a result, I enhanced drilling operations by mitigating product malfunctions; I also facilitated immediate downhole well isolation assessments. Moreover, I oversaw the prototype lifecycle from concept design to release. I streamlined prototype testing by identifying product challenges, building related mockups, and performing testing to determine the required changes. As a result, I reduced the testing time and revised the product based on customer requirements. In a similar vein, I standardized technical specifications and tool design by training 4 new engineers on a specialized downhole deployment valve technology.
