Business Architect / Senior Strategy Advisor

Serves as the architecture and design lead on a project team. The Solutions Architect collaborates with business partners, business analysts, systems analysts and subject matter experts to fully understand business objectives and translate them into a solution design. Works with other architects, application delivery, quality assurance, and infrastructure teams to develop solution artifacts that follow industry best practice and Enterprise technology standards. Develops enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, technology platforms and data assets. Maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to address business needs. Viewed as a critical resource across multiple disciplines.

The primary focus of the Consultant role was development of strategic corporate project business cases for investment approval by VP and C-Suite leadership. These business cases documented the justification for the initiation of a project based on the estimated cost of development and implementation, weighed against the risks and the anticipated business benefits. In the preliminary stages of the process, RFP solicitation from third parties often accompanied business case development so, in this role, the Consultant performed both tasks.The secondary focus of the Consultant role was to design & implement business process improvements focused on enabling value-based prioritization of the IT development work request backlog.

Responsible for business process improvement related to provider back-office transformation within the purview of HITECH and ARRA mandates. The goal was to make it easy to do business with our organization by supporting our RHIO and leveraging it as a hub for electronic payer-provider transactions and by delivering self-service information to provider offices via our web portals.

Responsible for editorial process and delivery of provider-facing content (both print and digital) supporting back office business processes related to treatment, payment and operations. This role had a specific focus on effectively transitioning from print/mail/fax to web-based communications and developing our provider facing web portals.

Led special project team to reconfigure legacy business for conversion to new core system.Responsible for loading/auditing Employer Group information in core billing system.Database query development to audit core system tables.
