Mr. Mendez oversees Pearlmark's New York office with primary focus on the firm's investment activities including sourcing, underwriting and execution of transactions for Pearlmark's managed funds. Mr. Mendez works on all aspects of financial analysis, property due diligence, and transaction structuring. Prior to joining Pearlmark in 2018, Mr. Mendez served as Director and Co-head of US Investments at Madison International Realty. Prior to joining Madison in 2009, Mr. Mendez worked for Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he was engaged on both investment banking and investing transactions. Prior to business school, Mr. Mendez worked for IBM Business Consulting Services (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he specialized in financial and risk modeling for Federal government agencies, including the Federal Housing Administration and the United States Postal Service. Mr. Mendez received his BS from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Mendez is a CFA charterholder, CIPM certificant, and CCIM designee.
