This resulted in the Didcot Growth Accelerator, with the potential to attract leading science and technology investment capable of achieving £140m of business rate income.Chris provided direction and guidance resulting in the creation of a powerful brand for Science Vale UK centred on the two enterprise zones and the world renown science campuses at Harwell, Culham and Milton Park, positioning these assets to be the growth engines for a transformational Garden Town development at Didcot.Chris authored the innovation sections of the Didcot Garden Town Delivery Plan, successfully recognised and awarded status within the UK Government's Garden Town programme.Chris was instrumental in the formation of a private-public consortium led by First Group, operators of First Great Western, for a bid into the UK Government’s CAV3 (Competition for Autonomous Vehicles Round 3) funding competition.
