As Managing Director of Corporate Relations, I serve as a trusted advisor to the corporate sector for engaging the efforts led by the Center for a New American Security (CNAS) in Washington, DC. Working closely with the executive team, program directors, and colleagues across the organization, I build and strengthen revenue-generating partnerships between the business and policy-making communities to discuss and explore the most innovative, pragmatic, and timely solutions related to national security and global geopolitical developments facing the U.S. and its allies.

As Executive Director of Corporate Relations, I oversaw corporate engagement and fundraising for Asia Society in New York and worked together with its 13+ regional centers located in the U.S. and abroad. From U.S. based multinationals to foreign-based companies across size and industries, I made sure the business community was welcomed and actively engaged with the organization's global network dedicated to building understanding and fostering connections between Asia and the global community through extensive programming ranging from arts and culture, business, education, policy and technology.

As Director of Corporate Relations for the Wilson Center (The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars), I led the organization's efforts to engage the private sector in the U.S. and around the world in conversations about geo-political developments and how to best address today's most pressing challenges (and great opportunities) facing the global community.

As a senior member of the membership team at the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), I developed relationships with companies located on the West Coast of the U.S., with an emphasis on those in consumer-facing technology industries. Working closely together with a seasoned team of professionals, I built partnerships with companies who share an interest to safeguard and support the data-driven marketing industry so they may prosper while respecting consumers' privacy and leading the way for child protection.

As Senior Manager of the Business Alliance, I oversaw the corporate engagement program and served as the primary liaison for the organization to the business community. Representing members across industries from the private sector, the design of the Business Alliance continues to provide a best-in-class platform to share insight and feedback with CAP issue experts as the organization develops and advocates for smart public policy. The Business Alliance provides a range of engagement opportunities for its members.

As President of Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP), I led the organization's development beginning from an annual fashion show event through its incorporation into a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. As an organization, we expanded activities to include offering education and training to DC-area youth in the fields of ethical fashion design, manufacturing and production. I also managed the organization's Board of Directors and over 100+ volunteers.

During my tenure at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, I managed the corporate fundraising portfolios for three senior-level executives, including the COO. In addition to developing individual strategic engagement plans, I was responsible for stewardship of existing members and reaching out to prospects. I worked closely with the Managing Director, Corporate Relations and my team to meet and exceed expectations in efforts to deepen relationships with the private sector and grow the membership program.
