About Christopher Mong
We need teaching, not information. We need problem solving, not recitation. We need instructors and students who embrace messy, real world situations instead of shying away because they are not cookie cutter, end-of-the-chapter problems. I earned my Ph.D. at Purdue University studying Learning Design and Technology. My research interests include educational gaming, teacher education, problem-based learning, and academic transformation. I've worked on a variety of instructional design projects, from redesigning undergraduate education at Purdue University to helping develop family support modules for the United States Air Force.I am passionate about teaching and learning, especially in higher education. I'm excited about opportunities to improve learning ... with technology or without.
