Colleagues describe him as "I have had the pleasure of teaching Christopher Lee in grade 11 and 12 high school mathematics. During the 2012/2013 school year I taught Christopher in the Calculus and Vectors course, where he earned a final grade of 97% in the course. Christopher’s mark is a reflection of a strong work ethic and a student who is not willing to except anything less than his very best in everything he does. Christopher possesses wonderful mathematical ability and would always demonstrate a deep passion for learning new things and taking on new challenges. I would characterize Christopher as a very effective problem solving who can think outside the box and create unique solutions. I was always impressed with Christopher's ability to come up with novel ways of looking at problems. What really sets Christopher apart from some of my other high achieving students is his ability to incorporate reasoning skills in a problem solving approach. Christopher was very logical and had the ability to see mathematics as sensible and as useful tool in navigating through the basic elements of a problem and see how they fit together. Christopher realized the value in hard work and he represented a leader for others in the classroom, who saw that becoming mathematically proficient through effort was a worthwhile endeavour. Christopher has tremendous patience, I never saw him get frustrated when helping others. Christopher exemplifies a young man who is dedicated and enthusiastic towards learning. Christopher was always respectful and polite to his peers and his teachers. I really enjoyed the positive attitude that Christopher would bring to all situations. He was well liked and respected by both his teachers and fellow classmates. I would consider Christopher one of the leaders in his mathematics class. It has been a pleasure knowing Christopher and having had the opportunity of teaching him. I am delighted to see all the success that he is currently enjoying in his chosen career of mechanical engineering.
