Now known as the President of Bob Means Plumbing, Chris’ journey with the company has humble beginnings, starting as a Laborer at age 15.Chris’ dedication to serving his community can be attributed to his upbringing and his time serving our country. After graduating from high school, Chris enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as an infantryman from 2002-2006, which included three tours in Iraq. Chris later served in the U.S. Marine Reserves from 2008-2009. Chris was decorated for his service in Iraq and his leadership in the Marine Reserves.Following the Marine Corps, Chris worked in the banking industry before enrolling at and graduating summa cum laude from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Shortly after, Chris returned to his roots by joining Bob Means Plumbing as a Service Technician and later General Manager.In 2018, Chris purchased the company from his uncle, Bob Means. Under Chris’ leadership, Bob Means Plumbing opened a full-service commercial division to complement its long-time residential focus. Today, Chris leads the company through continued growth, staying true to providing dedicated customer service by making necessary changes based on the feedback and needs of their valued customers.Chris values community and is committed to supporting organizations he holds dear to his heart. These include but are not limited to local veteran support, ending local hunger, coaching and funding youth sports, and investing in workforce development.Chris lives in Mechanicsburg with his high-school sweetheart, their two young boys, and dog. Chris and his family enjoy camping, visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and playing outside.
