I am a biologist with a keen interest in physiology, in vivo pharmacology, and experimental animals. My focus is on the development and validation of animal models, especially for pain research. I am also quite interested in the role of olfaction on behaviour. I have great experience with over eight years of research and teaching physiology. I am trained and experienced in handling a variety of animal model species and particularly rodents and reptiles. In addition to my specialisation in physiology, I am well-trained and have good experience in animal production. Accordingly, I have been engaged severally as a livestock consultant to facilitate the training of smallholder livestock farmers. In my career life, I have been involved in several community service initiatives and I am a great ambassador of environment and wildlife conservation.
