As a PhD student at North Carolina State University, I am passionate about advancing the field of biomedical engineering, especially in rehabilitation engineering and robotics. I have been conducting independent research for more than two years, working with stroke survivors and peers to design and implement innovative solutions for upper extremity impairment. My work focuses primarily on haptic feedback in hand exoskeletons and implementing haptics into virtual and augmented reality for at-home rehabilitation and telehealth. I received a bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Health Science Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University joint department, where I was recognized as a Dean's List student and an Abrams Scholar for my academic excellence and research potential. My goal is to contribute to the development of novel technologies and methods that can improve the quality of life and health outcomes for people with disabilities and chronic conditions.
