• Conducted 9-month research project based primarily in Cape Town, South Africa.
• Conducted 30+ one-on-one interviews with key individuals involved in formal provision of microinsurance.
• Conducted client-focused individual and group interviews with 100+ microinsurance clients mostly in Khayelitsha (a township of Cape Town).
• Conducted in-depth policy analysis of South Africa’s financial, banking, and insurance regulations.
• Designed and implemented a survey that captured demographic and attitudinal data on clients and performed quantitative analysis on the collected data (i.e. descriptive statistics).

• Conducted a training workshop for 45 women entrepreneurs in Kampala, Uganda (October 2015).

• Managed two international South-South capacity building projects: SS-GATE and the South-South Sharing of Successful Tax Practices (S4TP).

• Conducted a qualitative evaluation of the NALEO Higher Education Leadership Initiative, an education/training program that targeted Latino state senators using structured interviews, surveys, and desk research.
