I am an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and organized research associate and environmental health manager with a diverse skillset and background. I love learning new skills and specific technical abilities, including those that might be just outside of an area of study but which might serve a project, whether that's being able to deliver key messaging in a presentation more smoothly or learn video production software. I have both a professional and graduate-level academic background in the environmental health sciences and public health, including research, implementation, and program evaluation. I also have seven years of experience co-coordinating a non-profit conservation organization, as well as administrative experience in several positions. I offer excellent communication, writing, research, and computer skills, and I bring an understanding of and experience with public health and scientific research methods. Through previous university and state government positions approximately 13 years), I have grown in working independently, including project management tasks and leading recruitment for several studies and federal projects. However, I greatly value being part of a diverse team and the synergy of an office environment, as well as the opportunity to work with a varied range of multi-level partners, councils, and workgroups, and helping to establish those partnerships.
