FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract.Secure 24x7x365 SOC; overseeing 2 critical FAA networks- National Airspace System (NAS); Secure network connecting all critical aviation infrastructure- FAA’s Mission Support network; typical enterprise IT infrastructure- First shift lead IR analyst and supervisor, managing and performing all related IR activities- Escalation point for Tier 1 analysts, lead high-priority incident investigations and escalations, and briefed leadership- Liaised with the duty and watch officers at the FAA’s internal Cyber Security Management Center- In addition to monitoring, performed threat hunting and system tuning to improve security posture- Platform engineer and subject matter expert for intrusion detection and network forensic systems- Wrote and deployed custom snort signatures from own research and government provided indicators- Provided training and mentoring to junior and newly hired analysts- IDS engineering support for other Harris Corp contracts
