I am a third-year student from Mars, Pennsylvania at Indiana University, majoring in Information Systems with a co-major in Business Analytics at the Kelley School of Business. Throughout my studies, I have developed many important skills necessary for success in my future career, such as teamwork, time management, leadership, and organization. I have also found a passion for business technologies, especially the Microsoft Office Suite, where I am proficient in both Excel and Access. On campus, I am heavily involved with many student organizations and teams, including serving as a practice player for the women’s basketball team, a member of the Business World of Sports club, and heavily engaged with the Kelley Business Honors program, a select group of students chosen to enroll in rigorous coursework and challenging projects outside of the classroom. I recently joined the BUS-K 303: Technology & Business Analytics teaching team as a teaching assistant, where I look forward to working with esteemed faculty to teach advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel. In the future, I want to work as a technology risk consultant, where I can use my strengths of working in teams and utilizing business software to ensure clients' IT systems and securities are working correctly. I participated in the Technology Consultancy Awareness & Readiness Program (TCARP), a monthly seminar experience designed to help students learn more about technology consulting and network with professionals from EY and Deloitte. I have internship experience with Forvis Mazars, where I worked in high-level team environments to ensure clients' IT and cybersecurity infrastructure met industry and regulatory standards. My experiences at Indiana University and the Kelley School of Business have helped me become stronger and more confident in my skills and habits leading me towards my professional career. I have a growth-oriented mindset and cannot wait to learn and absorb more throughout the rest of my college career. Outside of my classroom studies and extracurricular involvement, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching both college and professional football, cheering on the Hoosiers at various athletic events, and trying different foods and restaurants throughout Bloomington and the greater Pittsburgh area.
