Christopher Peters, MBA, CFE, CIDA, MAFF is the founder and partner of GPS Consultants, LLC which is a management consulting and financial forensics firm focused on assisting clients with improving operations and solving organizational problems through forensic accounting, litigation support, and data analysis. Peters has testified as an expert witness in the field of forensic accounting in civil and criminal cases. Peters co-authored the Wolters Kluwer Commerce Clearing House (CCH) text book Case Studies in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Auditing. Prior to starting GPS in May 2011, Peters was the Chief Financial Officer for one of the largest home remodeling companies in the United States. Peters also worked for a regional CPA firm. Peters is the past President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Baton Rouge Chapter.Goal: To enhance business intelligence and detect fraud, waste, and abuse through data analysis and continuous monitoring.
