The National MS Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. Bike MS is a series of over 55 extraordinary cycling events across the country.*Implement operational plan that focuses on acquisition, retention and cultivation of top fundraisers, teams, participants, and sponsors.*Manage a strong and balanced participant portfolio that includes Bike MS teams, top fundraisers, participants, sponsors, and volunteers.*Plan, manage and coordinate one of the largest charity bike rides in Western Pennsylvania (Bike MS: Escape to the Lake). The 2-day, 150-mile bike event includes over 500 participants, raises over $600,000 and has a 39 year history. *Recruit, manage and work with an event committee. The committee plans, executes and supports a successful charity event*Recruit, train, coach, and motivate over 700 participants to raise over $900,000 as part of two Bike MS events. *Regularly monitor the performance of fundraising portfolios to ensure timely responsiveness to new registrants, to recognize fundraising and recruitment milestones and to maximize retention.*Secure underwriting support and in-kind donations while increasing fundraising dollars by presenting sponsorship opportunities to organizations and businesses.*Track and report on revenue growth and progress.

Northgate Church is a growing community of grace committed to transforming communities and people's lives with the Gospel.Served part time. Responsible for the youth ministry program including teaching & managing curriculum, leading small groups, recruiting & training volunteers, developing outreach activities, planning outings & retreats and creating an environment where teenagers can flourish.

The Pittsburgh Project is a community development organization. It has been developing leaders and serving the city's most vulnerable residents for over 35 years.The Pittsburgh Project has a Leaders in Training Program (LIT) for high school students. The LIT Program prepares high school students to successfully enter the workforce and to pursue post-secondary education so that these students will use their talents and abilities to be servant leaders.*Assisted in the coordination of the LIT Program, which included mentoring, teaching, job training, recruiting and coordinating group activities.*Performed lawn maintenance and snow removal for over 25 clients in the Pittsburgh area while training and leading students.*Built significant relationships with students that modeled integrity, discipline and encouragement.

(Formally Pittsburgh Youth Network, a project of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation)The Pittsburgh Kids Foundation is a youth-serving, nonprofit organization that brings together over 100 ministries in South Western Pennsylvania. PKF is recognized nationally as the largest and strongest youth collaboration in any city in this country.* Directed all facets of PKF fall retreats and summer camp ministry, which had an attendance of 2000+ participants annually and an annual operating budget of over $100,000. *Launched and led development efforts in the creation of new ministries including; J-town high school outreach camp, high school leadership camp and quadrant ministry. *Forged partnerships with local churches, non-profits, community organizations and businesses to support the work of the Pittsburgh Kids Foundation through volunteering, participation and collaboration.*Planned and orchestrated Pittsburgh Kids Network monthly meetings, large regional events, and trainings that included attendance of up to 500 participants.*Built significant relationships with local youth pastors, national camp directors and financial donors.*Coordinated, monitored and assisted with the daily operations at the PKF offices including office management, staff coordination, creative development and organizational branding.*Hired, trained, developed and coached 50+ staff members and volunteers annually on camping, outreach and relational ministry.*Consulted and advised local and international ministries on large scale events and team building activities.

On staff at Project 40 under a partnership with the Americorp National Program. Project 40 was under the direction of the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation at the time. Project 40 worked with congregations in the Pittsburgh area and dealt with the 40 developmental assets that kids need to succeed. Project 40 would survey, analyze and report information all based around the 40 developmental assets.
