Responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of our Hot Runner Systems and Made-to-Order products. Also responsible for managing our Facilities department in Massachusetts.

Additional responsibilities include:• Share responsibility with all Operations Leadership Team Members for continuous process improvement. • Actively seek opportunities for early problem detection by leading problem solving and quality improvement efforts. Review system level root cause of problems and focus efforts on changing and improving systems to prevent reoccurrences. • Track and measure conformance to standards, specifications, and quality requirements. • Provide support to manufacturing on quality and productivity issues by responding to Line shutdowns to facilitate corrective and preventive action. • Reduce cost of poor quality by championing quality costing efforts in all areas. • Quickly respond to and problem solves customers’ concerns on quality and productivity issues. • Evaluate current and potential suppliers to determine if suppliers have the ability to support on-going requirements in quality, on time delivery, cost, and customer service.• Assist suppliers in implementing preventive and corrective action in response to Quality Issues.• Support and maintain ISO-9001 certification and oversee internal audit program.• Develop new and improved methods to produce, test and monitor quality of products.

Performs statistical analysis of data using statistical software. • Provides support to manufacturing on quality and productivity issues by responding to Line Shutdowns to facilitate corrective and preventive action. • Actively works to reduce cost of poor quality by championing quality costing efforts in all areas. • Responds to customers on quality and productivity issues. • Evaluates current and potential suppliers to determine if suppliers have the ability to support on-going requirements in quality, on time delivery, cost, and customer service. • Assists suppliers in implementing preventive and corrective action in response to Quality Issues.• Supports and maintains ISO-9001 certification and oversees internal audit program. • Develops new and improved methods to produce, test and monitor quality of products.

Returned to work, as requested by the President, to review the Quality Management System and assist senior management in achieving ISO9000:2008 certification. This was a 4-month project completed while attending school full-time. Responsibilities included:• Audit and modify existing processes, procedures and documentation to comply with ISO9000:2008.• Train senior management and key personnel to adhere to ISO9000:2008 requirements.• Train ISO management representative and key personnel for measurement of quality objectives, continuous improvement, and auditing skills.• Offer support throughout the certification process including final audit from ISO representative.

Senior level manager responsible for quality management of company’s manufacturing output. Ensured superior quality of all products manufactured in accordance with federal and international standards. Implemented and upheld quality objectives and quality policy. Responsibilities included:• Inspect and verify all materials and outside processes meet customer specifications. • Train and provide daily supervision to 10-15 staff.• Create Purchase Order, Packing List and Quote documents; maintain inventory; and analyze time and cost of projects.• Provide final inspection of all materials and products before distribution to customer.• Trouble shoot and implement corrective/preventative measures to ensure high quality product distribution. • Respond to and resolve customer complaints, issues and quality concerns.
