I organised, managed and delivered external and on-board training to meet individual and whole ship proficiencies to ensure all personnel were adequately trained to undertake their assigned tasks to meet capability requirements. I was responsible for the Emergency Management Organisation during Humanitarian operations/disaster relief and also acted as the Assistant Ships Safety officer and the Ships Public Relations Officer.

I completed the Training Systems Application Course and undertook postings to the: Competency Management Cell; Evaluation Cell; Mine Warfare Faculty and as the Course Implementation Officer Training Systems prior to promotion to Lieutenant Commander and posting to HMAS Kanimbla.

Enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy and trained as a Submarine Acoustic Warfare Analyst. During this time I was posted to multiple submarines and shore positions. Ultimately achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer running the submarine simulators prior to taking a commission to become a Training Systems Officer.
