Newport Aquarium

Led a diverse group of individuals to provide the best guest experience possible through animal husbandry, guest operations and facility operations including EHS. Responsible for all elasmobranch species in the collection including the Aquarium's marquee tank, Surrounded by Sharks Exhibit; also responsible for executing all assigned quarantine at an off-site warehouse and general up keep of the "living" portion of the warehouse.

Responsible for the care of various animals in quarantine and on exhibit. Participated in boat collection trips and shore collections trips. Responsible for and participated in animal transports ranging in a few miles to near 1000 miles.

Assisted keepers in day to day animal care routines, responsible for assisting educational opportunities for the zoo patrons. General keeper work as assigned for a large variety of taxa in the Shores Department as assigned by the Senior Keeper or Curator of the area.
