I manage a team of about 15 software engineers, and oversee the technical strategy and architectural direction of our SaaS product.

I worked with over 150 clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies to government agencies, to design and build websites and web applications. My role spanned the full project lifecycle -- sales, design and architecture, implementation and development, testing, and support. I worked with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the process, including C-suite executives, marketing teams, IT departments, and developers.Highlights include leading and managing the development of a paywall SaaS startup; building a new job board and application site for a major staffing agency; developing a donor engagement platform for a national chain of resale thrift stores; and building an integrated CRM platform for a virtual call center.I also worked on various internal projects, including: architecting and building a package management system for Titan CMS; migrating hosting services for over 100 clients/sites to Microsoft Azure; developing an e-commerce platform for Titan CMS; and building an application to scan websites for a certain type of security issue.

I designed, implemented, tested, deployed, and documented an e-commerce and web application platform for medical associations that use iMIS, a leading association management software solution. The platform provides PCI-compliant e-commerce capabilities and handles membership dues payments, event registrations, and orders. It also includes a Google Maps-integrated directory, meeting management system, abstract management system, single sign-on connectivity, and a survey/election system. I led the design and development of the platform, and managed the initial implementation of the platform to over a dozen different clients.I also created a wide range of custom web applications for over 25 different clients. I developed both web and desktop applications that connected to various internal systems, including our intranet and work order system.

I worked with a microfinance credit union in Burkina Faso, teaching basic computer skills and assisting in the digitization of their record-keeping. I also planned and led a computer camp at a local high school, and worked with Peace Corps Volunteers in another town to build a cybercafe.I also taught evening English classes for adults and worked with an English club geared towards high school students. And I helped create several savings and credit clubs that provided small loans to village women.
