I have a history of multidisciplinary leadership at the state and national levels in marketing, advertising, public relations, corporate communications, crisis management, government relations and public policy. I'm recognized as a cross-departmental enterprise leader with seventeen years in progressive roles interacting with the CEO, board of directors, marketing, public/government/interest group relations, sales, underwriting and dental and professional services.I have superior communications skills and experience creating and delivering engaging and entertaining presentations to boards of directors, conference audiences, employees, legislators and others.After earning degrees in journalism and public policy, I honed my skills in the Arkansas governor's office where, for nine years, I wrote speeches, radio addresses and newspaper columns. As a policy advisor, I handled many of his most difficult issues before the legislature, the public and a sometimes hostile media. I also played drums in the governor's band, Capitol Offense, opening for Willie Nelson and Charlie Daniels.
