Christopher is a Two-Spirit member of the Natchitoches Tribe with roots extending to the Caddo, Chitimacha, Canneci, Creek, Congo, Guinea, Eʋe and French cultures. As a Creole descendant of Marie Thérèse ditte CoinCoin—a self-liberated healer, farmer, and entrepreneur who founded Cane River's free people of color community in Louisiana during the late 1700s—Christopher’s journey is deeply connected to legacy and liberation.With over a decade of experience in tech operations, partner relations, reparative strategy, and process development, Christopher is dedicated to systems change and community empowerment. His visionary approach is reflected in Giving Reparations, an eCommerce store he created to distribute reparative capital. As the Community & Funding Partnerships Manager at Ecotrust and Director of Reparative Strategy at Black Food Fund, he brings a human-centered approach to bridging communities and driving positive change. His educational background—a degree in recording arts from Full Sail University, a bachelor’s in Buddhist psychology with a minor in yoga from Naropa University, and a master’s in business sustainability from Presidio Graduate School—reflects a multidisciplinary commitment to impactful, values-driven leadership.
