Broad-based legal skills include: Contract and document drafting Negotiating and presenting contracts to business units Contract management, organization and review Interpretation of contract terms and conditions Liability/risk exposure analysis Research and writing E-discovery Organization and management of other attorneys and support staffResponsibilities include: Review, negotiate and draft various corporate contracts and other legal documents, including commercial software licenses and data privacy agreements and clauses. Provide legal counsel to management and business staff regarding commercial negotiation and renewal of contracts, contract execution, and other related vendor, customer and consumer documents. Advise and provide support to management and business staff regarding contract organization, administration, dispute resolution and interpretation of state and federal statutes and regulations. Conduct legal research and draft anlayses of risk and liability exposure, including complex litigation issues. Resolve legal and business issues while negotiating contracts. Manage pre-litigation client, vendor and consumer disputes. E-discovery experience, including coordinating efforts between internal legal teams, outside litigation counsel and e-discovery vendors on large, high-stakes litigation, including class actions. Manage a team of attorneys and legal support staff working on issues pertaining to data privacy and commercial litigation. Provide internal audit and analysis of potential commercial disputes and M&A opportunities. Support and advise internal business units and clients across North America and Europe on data privacy issues and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.  Manage outside counsel and case management in commercial litigation matters.
