Reporting to the Managing Director of the Calgary office, I oversee and coordinate the efforts of myself and one other designer. The Physician Learning Program is a multi-disciplinary office that supports healthcare providers and organizations as they seek to improve their patient care. Collaborate with project teams to develop empathetic approaches to understanding and solving a problem.Develop a wider understanding of human-centered design within the PLP team to support the widespread use of this approach across all of our projects. Foster a culture of human-centered design as a method for effective healthcare quality improvement through internal exercises and design sessions.

As KT Design Specialist, my responsibilities include: develop process plans to support interdisciplinary healthcare quality improvement projects; coordinate and lead a small team of designers to execute those plans; and develop documentation to support a formalized design process within the Calgary PLP office.The design support provided by the design team includes complete co-design processes, usability testing, producing technical feedback reports and other data-driven documents.
