Digital Practice Manager
CurrentSupports and informs the firm’s design technology expertise. Responsible for working collaboratively with Business Groups, Practice Areas and IT to develop and maintain software protocols, workflows and training regimens to support company Design and Construction technology efforts. In charge of elevating the firm’s design technology expertise as well as other enterprise technology solutions. Responsible for providing leadership for design technology and implement solutions to achieve the overall business objectives. Job Responsibilities:• Manage technical projects and identify trends in the market that will affect the business.• Technology Strategy and Implementation:• Continuously evaluate and improve digital processes to streamline operations and enhance project delivery.• Implementation of integrated technology services to support project and business needs• Research / innovation• Conduct ongoing research into new and emerging technologies relevant to the architecture and construction industries.• Lead the adoption and integration of innovative digital solutions within the firm.• Serve as technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various design technologies, able to respond to user questions, present overviews and assist with issue triage and troubleshooting.• Support the firm’s management and design staff in use of Design and Construction Management technologies.• Provide Design and Business Services support for all levels of production.• Interacts with IT regarding operational and technical issues.• Help Develop & maintain policies created working closely with the Director of Technology, BIM Manager, Studios and Business groups.• Conducts user training on design technology as needed.
