With a background in law and business administration, I use the intersection of these two disciplines to effectively guide clients through the intricacies of intellectual property matters and their effect on larger business decisions. I focus my practice on intellectual property and business law matters. This includes drafting patent and trademark clearance opinions; preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark, and copyright applications; managing intellectual property portfolios; drafting and negotiating licensing and technology transfer agreements; representing clients in patent, trademark, and copyright litigation matters; and advising clients on data privacy issues.I earned my MBA in 2016, and, as a result, I bring unique insights to my clients on how intellectual property assets influence brand awareness and identity, affect financial and purchasing decisions, and further shape the organizational strategy of a business.Through thoughtful consideration of the needs and goals of each specific client, I create a personalized protection plan for each client’s portfolio, with an eye toward furthering each individual client’s specific business goals.Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering with Cleveland area refugees and tutoring refugee children in order to help them better acclimate to life within the United States.
