I undertake Board advisory work supporting clients delivering major infrastructure and transportation programmes. I was awarded the UK Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) 2023 Parkman Medal for a paper on systems integration in major infrastructure projects, in collaboration with Professor Jennifer Whyte and Professor Andrew Davies.I am a Governor (Trustee) of Royal Star & Garter which provides award-winning care for veterans and their partners who live with disability or dementia, in state-of-the-art Homes. The charity was founded in 1916 to care for the severely injured young men returning from the battlegrounds of the First World War. Today, Royal Star & Garter provides specialist nursing, dementia and therapeutic care, together with a varied and engaging programme of activities, which enable residents to remain independent and enjoy life.I had the privilege of being a Director of the Crossrail Art Foundation for 10 years until the final work, Infinite Accumulation by Yayoi Kusama, was unveiled at Broadgate in London on 7th August 2024.Chris Sextonchrismsexton74@gmail.com
