2015 Raise day to day standards of the golf course with the creation and implementation of new working practices/techniques.Introduce a regular aeration and top dressing regime for all greens, tees and approaches. Improving drainage, diluting thatch levels and raising turf health.2016 Advise club to install Passive Capillary Drainage (PCD) into our wettest greens, the 1st and 4th greens. First stage of machinery replacement plan completed. 2017 In house bunker refurbishment project on the par 3 8th hole. Drainage, shape and sand quality were all addressed.2018 Second stage of machinery replacement plan completed, allowing the team to raise course standards further. HGC hosted the Trilby 12’s in September. 2019 In house bunker refurbishment on the 9th hole. Installation of Bernhard Grinders and new drying room. With the view of becoming more sustainable we are focussed on increasing the bent grass populations of the greens, implementing a disease prevention program and ensuring the irrigation system is operating effectively. Project manage installation of PCD into 3rd and 5th greens. Incorporating the redesign and reshape of the 3rd bunkers and green surrounds. 2020 Replace all valve in head sprinklers on greens and approaches. Renewing all electrical connections and swing joints. Replace all sleeper steps on the course and install new sleeper tee posts. Install 150m of drainage into 9th fairway/ 2nd crossover.2021 Improve infrastructure with the construction of 3 new pathways around the golf course. Final stage of PCD installation. 8 out of 10 greens now fully drained and all greens now playable through winter months.

Support the Course Manager in overseeing the maintenance of an 18 hole golf course. Including responsibility for the irrigation system, spraying and cutting unit grinding.

General greenkeeping maintenance. Including set up for 4 Wales Open Tournaments and the Ryder Cup in 2010.
