Partner At Freeths Llp Specialising In Employment Law
CurrentA lot of staff matters can be sensitive, emotional and distracting. However, I am typically called upon to help with particularly sensitive or highly complex matters, as I have a track record of delivering satisfactory resolutions in high pressure situations often under time or budgetary pressures. My work means I work very closely with large employers, including PLCs, largely in the private sector although often with public sector connections. We have also introduced ways of working with smaller businesses to enable them to access the same resources as larger companies within their budgetary constraints. My track record includes handling large-scale collective consultation issues, including TUPE and redundancy (often with multi-trade union involvement). My training as a barrister means I appear as an active advocate in the employment tribunal on behalf of my clients, providing a 'cradle to grave' service.
