My journey began in the public library sector, where I managed Reference and Information Services and specialized in "Small Business Research," connecting with local entrepreneurs and businesses, and participated in fundraising and community engagement. This eventually led to being the Director of Operations and a member of the Executive Board at a thriving third-party delivery startup, where I orchestrated seamless collaboration between departments, ensuring exceptional service every day. Playing a big part in the company's acquisition opened new doors into ASAP/Waitr Holdings, where I was tasked with running Delivery Dudes in full after the founders' exit and through brand integration, and contributed to directing Dispatch & Support as well.From there, I moved to New York to be near an extensive family network, and recently took on the role of Library Director at Catskill Public Library and its Palenville Branch. I'm extremely humbled and invigorated to be rekindling my library career.Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in staying active and exploring the great outdoors. You'll often find me playing volleyball, mountain biking, hiking, and exercising to stay energized. I love espresso and sparkling water, and am looking forward to learning how to snow ski and fly fish. Traveling on adventures to countries like Norway, Denmark, Portugal, and Spain, and visiting many US National Parks is a habit I like to encourage as well.My strengths lie in creative problem-solving, team leadership, and making data-driven decisions.
