✪ For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with my hands. Working on muscle cars and motorcycles from an early age. There’s something immensely satisfying about finding the problem, fixing something, and making it work better than it did before. ✪At IPCO (formerly Sandvik), I have collaborated with talented and dedicated engineering, production, and quality staff on industrial process systems for the world’s largest companies. It is a culture that both talks the talk and walks the walk when it comes to continuous quality improvement, which has been a large part of my role over the past 15+ years.In addition to preventive maintenance and break-fix repair on large-scale equipment, I led the production team in manufacturing engineered machinery for steel belt and industrial process equipment. Having the opportunity to continually advance and evolve my skills is important to me and is something I place a high value on professionally. Highlights of development projects and initiatives I undertook at IPCO include: ▶︎ Achieving a zero-failure bond rate via concept, design, and implementation of a new maintenance program.▶︎ Instituting new double-check inspection standards that nearly eliminated processing issues related to human error.▶︎Training and mentoring team members on 5S best practices in a lean environment. ▶︎Reducing product defects to record lows by introducing a customer claims log and root cause analysis. ▶︎ Piloting a companywide recycling program for employees to properly dispose of solvents, oils,batteries and other electronic waste.As a member of environmental health and safety committees (EH&S), I provided insight into the challenges and opportunities within the production environment to site leadership and played a key role in translating new initiatives to the front line. Whether completing complex repairs, troubleshooting orders, or reviewing specifications with customer-facing stakeholders, I am professional, efficient, and dedicated.
