Member of Pepper Hamilton’s Privacy, Security and Data Protection practice group – a group that regularly meets, conducts research, and writes publications related to developments in data privacy laws. Internal Investigations and Compliance - Lead and coordinate internal investigations for clients to evaluate potential liability and determine necessary remediation related to complaints by employees, customers and governmental agencies. Draft all litigation related documents. Prepare for, conduct, and defend depositions including company presidents, CEOs and expert witnesses. Serve as lead attorney in mediations and settlement conferences, and successfully negotiate and memorialize settlements that exceed client expectations. Conduct oral argument for a broad variety of motions. First chair trial experience in both litigation and arbitration. Commercial Contracts - Negotiate, draft, revise, and analyze commercial, employment and construction contracts, and all related notices and exhibits.
