I’m a software project manager with significant experience in mobile autonomous robotics and a passion for autonomy and its practical applications to solve real world problems. My PhD in cooperative autonomous underwater vehicles created a field-demonstrated multi-vehicle system and was published in multiple international scientific conferences and journals. Upon receiving my doctorate I moved to the commercial sector to focus more on the applications of autonomy and I quickly progressed to senior engineering roles and ultimately success in project management.Some of my key skills include:• Software project management• Software engineering, specifically the development of embedded robotics autonomy• The ability to convert cutting edge research into robust, commercially ready solutions• Field experience testing and demonstrating mobile autonomous robotics• Comfortable interaction with engineers, teams and clientsMy experience in both the research and commercial sectors in combination with my excellent people/organizational skills has helped me find success as a project manager; I can understand the technology at a detailed level and I can see the big picture so as to deliver that technology as a solution to the client.
