I’ve spent the last 20 years developing a wide range of manufacturing system concepts for some of the most successful corporations in the US, Europe, and Asia. These system concepts have ranged from high speed medical device cells, processing 15 parts per second, to large scale automotive systems with TAKT times in the range of 30 minutes. My role requires leading a team of stake holders from all departments within the organization to a common goal, and covering every detail of the manufacturing process. Development of these systems always requires digging deeper into the details than most believe is necessary, in order to find the process risks that are frequently present in manufacturing.When I have a moment to relax, I'm either paddling on my kayak or trying to make cool things out of wood.
