Enterprise architect and delivery lead for large complex client engagements. These projects involved multiple disciplines and innovative technology to deliver global, intelligent solutions in business process transformation. In particular, contact centre as a service and all aspects of finance, HR and supply chain.

I was the Head of Industrialization and Automation for the Capgemini Group. I applied my energy and creativity to bring the practical aspects of artificial intelligence, including cognitive computing and robotics to the benefit of Capgemini’s clients.

I was the COO of the new Business Services strategic business unit within Capgemini, created by the merger of our BPO division with Prosodie and the recently-acquired teams from IGATE BPO and ITOPS. This produced a combined unit of over 25,000 people. I was delighted to be driving our offerings, solutions and delivery centre network as we transformed and integrated our new SBU.This is a massively exciting time in the business services market. Across 100+ client engagements at Capgemini, we’re able to show that our combination of technology and services is a driving force for business process transformation.We’re developing services that unlock hidden value in processes ranging from finance and accounting through to customer communications and supply chain management. The new teams have given us broader and deeper capabilities that we will deploy to the benefit of our clients.

Leading a team of over 14,000 people, my role was to:- Set and deliver the business unit strategy, ensuring alignment with the rest of the Capgemini organisation, whilst delivering the sales, revenue and profitability budgets.- Ensure we remained at the forefront of the BPO industry by developing services that consistently generated value and highlighted opportunities for improvement.- Create an environment that attracted the brightest business talent to BPO and encouraged creative and intelligent problem solving for our clients. During this period I delivered:- Over 4% organic growth per annum- A 100% renewal of existing contracts, often with increased scope- A recognition that our F&A offering was the most visionary in the Market- An industrialization programme that delivers over 7% production cost savings per annum- A strategy for the future of BPO that resulted in the creation of Business Services

As COO I was responsible for all of the service delivery to our clients on a global basis and the development of BPO service offerings. I also led Capgemini’s innovation investment in vertical offerings, delivery excellence and the global network of delivery centres. Building on this investment I led the creation of a Capgemini BPO App Store.

I successfully established Capgemini as a worldwide leader in Finance and Accounting Services.I developed a strong track record of working in partnership with clients to deliver transformation and world class outcomes. I was also responsible for the conception and implementation of a number of original approaches such as the Global Process Model, Global Enterprise Model, Command Center, the Virtual Company, and FAO-as-a-stack. I also launched our Governance, Risk and Compliance services. This ensures a continuous service that provides monitoring of controls, transactions, and real time visibility of risk and compliance, while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements. The result is improved enterprise risk management and compliance at a fraction of the cost.
