As the Founder and Coach at Champion Sports Performance, Christopher works with athletes of all ages to help them become stronger, faster, and more athletic. From young athletes to Middle School and High School, to the Collegiate and Olympic levels, he has a proven track record of helping athletes reach their potential and improve their performance in the sports they love. With over 20 years of coaching experience, Christopher is highly respected and sought after by coaches and athletes from across the state, country, and around the world. Christopher is the Sports Performance Coach for the USA National Karate Team. As the sole Sports Performance coach for both Tom Scott and Brian Irr, Coach Stratis became the only Sports Performance coach in the nation to coach Olympic Karate Kumite athletes through the qualification process and competition in the Olympic Games. His work with them as an expert Sports Performance Coach has been featured in Men's Health as well as ABC and NBC News coverage.He is a five-time Karate National Champion, seven-time member of the USA National Karate Team, and Pan American Championships Gold and Silver medalist. In 2015 he was inducted into the United States Karate Federation Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a Karate athlete during the 1990s. He was also an accomplished sprinter as a High School and Collegiate Track & Field athlete, having also competed in soccer and wrestling in high school. Coach Stratis is a Certified Speed & Agility Coach (CSAC) and Certified Sports Nutrition Coach (CSNC) through the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA). He also holds Youth Fitness Specialist (YFS1) and Athletic Assessment Specialist (YAAS) certifications through the International Youth Conditioning Association. Coach Chris is certified through the Positive Coaching Alliance and the SafeSport program, as well as the Coach Accelerator Program with the United States Olympic Committee. He holds a B.S. in Information & Decision Systems and Master of Business Administration, both from Carnegie Mellon University.Prior to founding Champion Sports Performance, Christopher poured his energy into a successful technology consulting career. He has over a decade of experience leading the marketing and business development initiatives for consulting firms. In the technology consulting space, he served as Head of Growth and Success and Director of Marketing & Operations at Fino Consulting. Before that, he was co-founder and CEO at CM3 Consulting where the leadership team grew the business for 10 years before merging with Fino.
