Worked on the Square Team Management product. Lead the Team Scheduling project, and oversaw it's delivery. Took on a technical lead position for a small team of developers. Helped onboard another company Square acquired, and helped integrate them into our team.

Full stack developer on the Square Team Management and Timecards product. Worked in Java, Kotlin, Rails, MySQL, Ember.js. Made a new Java microservice and extracted our timecard system from a monolithic Rails application into a Java microservice.

Designed and implemented API services using modern versions of Ruby/Rails with 98%+ test coverage. Used technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis and Node.js for high performance and cross-service communication. Services were back-ends for devices (iOS, Android) and Client-Side MVC endpoints.Developed with several standards such as JWT, OAuth2, NAPPS and SCIM.

Part-time work during school. Worked full stack on a Rails application. Assisted with upgrade from ruby 1.8.7 => 1.9.3 => 2.0 and upgrade from Rails 2.3 => 3.0 => 4.0. Handled card transactions and developed a service to interact with payment processors. Developed Android application, which is now in the Android App Store.FlexWage was working on PCI compliance at the time I left.
