I am a serial entrepreneur and investor. My most recent endeavors are in the Fin Tech space, but I’ve worked with a variety of businesses in other regulated industries. I love being on the ground level with new companies, and using novel technologies to solve complex problems and streamline business processes. I began in the environmental field, starting my first company from the ground up, one month after graduating from Georgetown Law, where I focused on corporate/regulatory law. During my last year of law school, I read an article about the hazards associated underground oil storage tanks. I was surprised that, despite the complex regulations involved, there was no established industry standard to test these tanks for groundwater leaks. Seeing an opportunity, I spearheaded the development of proprietary digital testing technology that provides instant test results in a user friendly format. This was the start of my environmental technology company, ATS, which has since expanded into the commercial and industrial markets, domestically and internationally. I also enlisted the help of my father, a former NASA engineer and literal “rocket scientist” to launch an equipment design component for ATS. As the founder and CEO of ATS, I gained enormous experience with Internet marketing. I began packaging these online marketing solutions and sold them to other companies. This led to the founding of BrandWire (BW) marketing. BW represents several international brands, including Jacadi, Roche Bobois and Letarte. After selling BW to BARKER in 2014, I was recruited by the founders of GoRion to develop a proprietary technology to reduce the risks in mortgage lending. In this capacity, I raised capital, developed and launched the technology, and secured several partnerships including Lloyd's of London. As CEO of GoRion, I’m bringing my background in technology, management and law to this innovative company, and gaining broad experience in the financial industry.
