About Christopher Trudeau
As a professor, I have taught many subjects over my 18+ years in academia - from every legal writing course schools have to offer (e.g. Predictive Writing, Persuasive Writing, and Contract Drafting) to Property Law, Tort Law, Contract Law, and Health Law. I love teaching the next generation of lawyers, and I'm proud to have returned to my home state (Michigan) to teach at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School. Before joining Detroit Mercy Law School, I held a dual appointment at both the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, Bowen School of Law. In that dual role, I taught legal writing in the law school and taught law & medicine to medical students and taught numerous modules on health literacy and clear communication to nursing students, PA students, and students in other health professions. In that role, I also served as the group leader of the regulatory knowledge & support function for the UAMS Translational Research Institute.Outside of teaching, my expertise is in legal drafting, health literacy, and patient-centered care. I'm one of the only lawyers who melds that expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare and clinical trials regulations. In short, I use these skills to help healthcare, biotech, public health, and research organizations improve outcomes while increasing their regulatory compliance. If you're looking to help weave clear communication into your organization, contact me. I enjoy training and consulting with organizations that are looking to better connect with those that they serve while also increasing their compliance with laws, policies, and regulations.
Listed skills include Legal Writing, Legal Research, Westlaw, Public Speaking, and 62 others.
