I have more than 10 years of experience in the HR space, primarily in a generalist capacity, now currently in a Regional HR Manager role with Kone. I have 7 years in the manufacturing space with Ford, United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies), Nestle and Triumph Group. I have advanced degrees from Brigham Young University and I love the opportunity to learn and grow as well as help my organizations grow in their people practices. I'm looking for opportunities to connect with individuals and organizations that are aggressive in developing their HR management practices while also growing in my capacity as an HR professional.

Hr SpecialistUnited Technologies Jul 2014 - Sep 2015Farmington, Ct, UsI worked at Carrier Corporation within the UTC umbrella of companies at a manufacturing plant. My work involved interfacing with the 1300 United Steelworkers union employees and handling grievances, administering employee discipline, negotiations, and employee relations as well as recruiting and other HR generalist type work. One example of my work was leading our workforce planning effort with our manpower moves, working with floor supervisors and the union according to our CBA to reassign more than 200 employees to new positions on the floor. I handled everything from ensuring proper work placement and pay as well as adequate headcount for each of our departments. This corresponded with a recruiting effort that required hiring nearly 200 new employees from January to September 2015.Perhaps what I'm most proud of in my brief stint as a labor rep was serving as the lone labor representative for my last several months in our HR department and reducing year-over-year grievances by more than 30%. -
Hr Graduate InternFord Motor Company May 2013 - Aug 2013Dearborn, Michigan, UsAs an intern within the labor relations team at Sterling Heights I had three main projects in my summer at Ford. During my summer, I helped to decrease the loss in work productivity and improved labor relations by analyzing union grievances and FMLA use through statistical methods, and some data mining. I also was able to help employees improve their uptake of the Ford Production system for new salaried employees and aid their ability to manage hourly union employees by creating onboarding and orientation program. And I increased employee engagement through recommendations based on focus groups, one-on-one interviews, and the development of a plant action plan based on the Ford biannual survey. -

Research AnalystLds Church Headquarters Aug 2010 - Aug 2011I had the great pleasure and opportunity to work within the correlation department for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which is the research arm of the church.
