Working in the Math Department as a tutor I have been able to expand out of my classes that I assist and help many other students from any math class taught at VCU. I work in what is called the "Math Help Center" where all students can come in for math tutoring.

Working in the Math Department as a teaching assistant I have been able to work with many professors and faculty with educating and improving the learning for other students. I have assisted two different math levels MATH 129 and MATH 139. With being a teaching assistant I have conducted my own office hours, homework review sessions, and exam prep sessions. With this position I have also been able to connect with other math students at VCU who share my passion for helping students.
