Teaching assistant for the undergraduate and graduate level course: Construction II - Materials and Methods. Aided the teaching in planning and creating course material, exams, and projects. Provided assistance to the students of the course with course material and projects.

Assisted in the schematic design and construction documentation phases of multiple projects, performing tasks such as design drawings, 3D modeling, preparing client presentation, and construction detailing.

Employed as a laborer performing tasks such as yard and leak clean-up, assisting in the service and repair of water lines, sidewalk and street repair, and managing material inventory. Gained valuable experience in effectively communicating with others to efficiently complete tasks, both individually and in teams, as well as knowledge of basic construction related to utility and public works.

Served as an after school tutor for elementary school children in the Washington, DC community through The Catholic University of America’s student work-study program. Exercised patience and authority tutoring students while maintaining a friendly and thriving learning environment. Gained appreciation for the rewards of teaching, as well as the responsibilities and challenges involved in a leadership position.

Employed as a summer maintenance employee for Gateway School District performing a variety of tasks including mowing lawns, painting, and moving furniture into the school buildings.
