Multiple areas including Delaware / Midland, Eagleford / Austin Chalk, Woodford, Haynesville, Uinta, Bakken, South Texas and Lousiana.Current: Chief Operating Officer - Geosteering - Quality Logging / PerformWell

Managed all geological operations aspects of a 2-3 rig drilling operation in the Delaware Basin. Worked directly with Land, Regulatory, Reservoir, Drilling and Completions Engineering.

Integrated well-based data sets of pressure (RFT, MW, shoe tests, break outs, etc.) with seismic velocities to deliver accurate pore pressure predictions to drilling to ensure safe delivery of wells in line with AFE.Interacted regularly with office and rig-based staff and contractors to ensure subsurface uncertainties of pore pressure prediction were communicated and understood to protect life, environment and reputation. Included rig visits to demonstrate safety leadership and build relationships with rig staff.Communicated results and identified solutions at after action reviews to management, asset and operations community to ensure best practices and lessons were enacted.

Leveraged previous experience to act as unconventional operations geology focal point for Lower 48 Onshore development in East Texas Cotton Valley including delivery and oversight of 40+ horizontal wells.Geosteering SMEBuilt consensus and respect on multidisciplinary team to improve delivery (25% reduction in rig time) and drive down costs by elimination of unnecessary practices to maximize NPV while maintaining safe operations.Integrated 350+ wells to improve subsurface definition. Included development of stratigraphic framework and QC of well tops. Led to improved target definition and increased in target accuracy to maximize wellbore value.Integration of stratigraphic / structural framework with petrophysical, pressure and geomechanical parameters to generate sweet spot map to guide future exploration and appraisal drilling.Acted as an SME for BP operations geologists training at the Halliburton wireline facilities in Ft. Worth Texas.Regularly interfaced with land organization to ensure subsurface delivery was aligned with lease obligations.Conducted frequent rig visits in concert with telecommunication to build trust and relationships with wellsite staff ensuring subsurface critical success factors and uncertainty were communicated and understood.

Integrated variable well dataset (200+ wells) to improve structural / stratigraphic model including more granular target definition and improved target accuracy. Planned and executed 35+ horizontal wells in the Eagleford including acting as primary geologist on up to 3 rigs simultaneously.Leveraged conventional well log analysis to identify and propose bypassed pay opportunity in Tuscaloosa sands in Exxon acquisition, South Louisiana. New prospect up hole completion resulted in significant uplift to wellbore value. Led to recognition of additional prospectively in legacy position.Mapped and identified key Utica horizons in new basin entry in Ohio / Pennsylvania. Matured and acted as primary operations geologist for first 3 horizontal discovery wells in this province.Supported vender relations by negotiating improved rates for services including well logging and coring resulting in 10 – 30% reduction relative to market rates.
