Working in the service industry I've come to learn what a customer wants and comes to expect in a product. Customer service is an important pillar in marketing because as a marketer the customer is my most important focal point. The customer is the one who listens and buys into what I am at trying to offer. For my professional career I seek employment in advertising ,product marketing or brand management. When assigned on a project I use extensive research resources to know what I'm selling and to who I'm selling, its crucial to know my customer cause without them i wouldn't be able to be a proficient candidate.
