Managed the production of monthly forecasts, annual budget, bi-annual 5-year long term plan and other ad-hoc requests for HBOe (International and Domestic TV licensing). I progressed from Accountant to Senior Manager during my tenure at HBO. My detailed duties are as follows:- Managed the forecasting and budgeting of HBO’s $500M+ international and domestic TV distribution business. Oversaw revenue growth of over 500% during tenure.- Analyzed significant quarterly and full year variances of monthly forecast versus prior forecast, budget and prior year. Discussed results with key Senior Management to help manage short and long-term goals. - Prepared bi-annual long-term plans with six-year outlook of distribution revenues and expenses by market for HBO’s & Cinemax’s 3000+ titles.- Identified risks and opportunities facing the business and incorporated such sensitivities into forecasts, budgets and long-term plans.- Provided financial support to the President of Programming Sales and Senior Management by preparing various ad hoc business analyses in order to help assess performance and help management make strategic business decisions.- Coordinated with the IT department and other areas of Finance to design and implement a new IBM forecasting tool (TM1) to improve accuracy and timeliness of executive-level reporting.- Produced key reporting metrics and monthly financial dashboards and summaries highlighting significant business trends for Operating Group Executives and Senior Finance Management.- Analyzed new output deal proposal economics against historical trends and current market data and provided financial summaries / support to the sales team and HBO Legal / Business Affairs during deal negotiations.- Analyzed rights-acquisition deals for major programs to determine net profitability and ROI; communicated findings to top-level executives to drive deal negotiations.- Responsible for supervising a Manager, Financial Analyst and Accountant.

-Prepared monthly, quarterly and year-end Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis versus prior month, prior year end, as well as original and rolling forecast budgets.-Assisted each department in formulating P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts for monthly, quarterly and annual performance.-Prepared monthly, quarterly and year-end reports in accordance with SEC & US GAAP regulations.-Assisted in preparing the company's annual financial statements.-Created monthly adjusting journal entries.-Created various power point presentations to be presented by Finance Director.-Attended meetings and participated in conference calls within a bilingual environment.-Resolved billing discrepancies with foreign affiliates.-Provided guidance to local employees regarding US GAAP laws and regulations.
