This was a Joint Venture Partnership with American International Group (AIG) to design and distribute warranty and insurance programs across Canada via dealer networks in the automotive, powersport and recreational vehicle categories. This entrepreneurial venture with 4 partners taught me the risk reward value of running a business, managing partner relationships and delivering on expectations of employees and customers alike. When AIG bought our company out in 2001 I was afforded the opportunity to travel with my new family before embarking on my TV sales career. The rights to the name were retained by my partner and the business continues (different underwriter) as a success story in BC to this day.
